The machine’s model number can be found on the packaging and its serial number on the machine itself.

Select the place of purchase and fill in the machine information. You can also upload a picture of the receipt.

DONE

You have now registered your machine and can download a warranty certificate.

CERTIFICATE

Your warranty certificate is stored in the system. If you didn’t upload your receipt, keep it for warranty purposes.

3 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY

 

In addition to the standard warranty, Makita Oy, as an importer wants to offer its own customers an additional, extended guarantee. By registering your tool, you can extend its warranty to three (3) years. The three year warranty period begins on the date of first purchase.

The extended warranty will be granted on the following conditions:

  • The tool has been purchased from an official dealer authorized by Makita Oy.
  • The tool is registered within 4 weeks of the date of purchase.
  • Registration is only possible on the website makita.fi and requires that the buyer consents to their personal data being included in Makita’s customer register.
  • The extended warranty only covers electric motor-powered tools (mains powered and battery powered) as well as gas nailers.
  • If the tool’s ownership changes, Makita must be informed by e-mail at myynti@makita.fiin order to keep the extended warranty in force. The extended three year warranty period is always calculated from the date of first purchase, and change of ownership does not affect the warranty period.
  • The extended warranty period is not available for accessories, batteries, chargers, lights, heated jackets, petrol powered products, pneumatic nailers, compressors or industrial screwdrivers.

Once you have successfully registered your tool on our website, you will be able to print out a warranty certificate and as well as a copy of your receipt, if you have uploaded it to the system.

If the tool is brought to the warranty repair service during the extended warranty period, it must be accompanied by a copy of the proof of purchase and the warranty certificate.
