  • DUC303 is highly versatile and efficient saw!

    Suitable for use at construction sites, at home, at cabin, or for cutting thin tree stems. Brushless motor saves the battery energy for cutting.

    The voltage of DUC303 is 36V and it functions with two series-connected Makita’s 18V batteries (18V+18V).

  • High performance

    New brushless external pole motor ensures high torque and performance and brushless motor enables high efficiency. In addition, the cordless saw is equipped with a power controller which maintains the performance steady regardless of the load.

 

 

 

1 – Safety switch

The switch structure is similar to combustion engine saws: the safety switch must be pressed down before pressing the operating switch. The switch includes a rotation speed adjustment function.

 

2 – Battery level indicator

Red LEDs indicate the remaining battery capacity.

3 LEDs:: 50%-100%

2 LEDs: 20%-50%

1 LED: 0%-20% (blinking – charge the battery)

 

3 – Main power switch

The main power switch must be activated before pressing the switch. If the saw is not started, the main power switch turns off automatically.

 

4 – Quick tensioning of the chain

The side is easy to open and the chain can be tensioned with a firm tensioner. The chain can be tensioned easily by using the adjusting wheel.

 

 

 

5 – Amount of saw chain oil

The amount of saw chain oil can be easily checked from the large window. Tank volume is 0.2 l.

6 – Metal bark support

Metal bark support keeps saw firmly against the material being cut and improves safety.

 

7 – Lubrication of the saw chain

Lubrication of the saw chain can be easily adjusted with the adjustment screw.

 

8 – Metal chain catcher

Metal chain catcher catches the chain if it, for some reason, breaks.
