Cooler and Warmer Box LXT® offers excellent cooling performance

Makita’s new product DCW180 is a highly expected cooler and warmer box, that is ideal for picnics, camping, road trips and of course for working outside. It provides an excellent cooling capacity of -18° to 10° C and it can also reach a warming temperature of 60° C. The box can easily fit 20 pieces 500 ml bottles in it and keep them cool for up to 11 hours.

5 cooling settings and a large storing capacity

DCW180 has a compressor type cooling system with five inside temperature settings for cooling: -18°, -10°, 0°, 5° and 10° C. It also reaches a warming temperature up to 60° C. Its large 20 L capacity can store up to 20 pieces of 500 ml bottles or four 2 L bottles in it. These features make the DCW180 the obvious choice for picnics, camping and road trips, for example.

Multiple power source options provide a long run time

The cooler and warmer box can be powered by three sources: one or two 18V LXT® batteries, AC and 12/24 V DC, which means that it can be used in a vehicle. With two 5,0 Ah batteries, the machine can maintain a temperature of 5° C for up to 11 h.

The boxes convenient LCD display shows both the inside temperature and battery fuel gauge clearly. The battery box is also protected with a lid for increased water resistance. When DCW180 is used with battery power, it has an IP54 rating.

Easy to take along anywhere 

The box has many convenient features. It is easy to take along anywhere as it has large casters, carrying grips, a handle and a shoulder strap. Its integrated USB output port allows for the charging of electric devices, such as mobile phones. For added convenience, it also features a bottle opener on its side.
