DKP181 is a handy planer that is perfect for shortening intermediate doors or narrowing panel and moldings. It can reach a planing depth of up to 3 mm and a planing width of up to 82 mm. It's speed and capacity are unmatched in it's class. The machine features a thumbwheel, which makes depth adjustment trouble-free. It's easy-to-read scale makes working with it accurate. For added convenience, chip ejection can be directed to either side of the tool.The planer is easily connectable to Makita's vacuum cleaners and dust bags. Auto-start Wireless Technology (AWS) makes it possible to turn on the cleaner with the planers power switch. This reduces dust, noise and cords in the job site making working with DKP181 extra clean and safe.
