The Makita P-44367 adapter is designed for a demountable crown, namely for adapting it to a hammer drill with an SDS-plus chuck. The crown is directly seated on the cone. A centering drill is also installed in the cone. When used with SDS-plus hammer drills, refer to the drill instruction manual for the recommended crown diameter.
