Makita's new Pruning Shears LXT® make cutting twigs and branches quick and easy. Two 18V LXT batteries deliver 36V power. The batteries are placed conveniently in a harness, freeing both hands to operate the tool. Extra sharp, Made-in-Japan forged blade opens up to 54 mm, allowing cutting branches as thick as 33 mm with the strength of 250 N.
Pruning is effortless thanks to quick cutting speed and extremely precise trigger switch, which makes pruning feel similar to manual pruners without having to use the muscle power thanks to battery-power.

1. Smooth cutting similar to that of a hand pruner: Blade can be interlocked with the trigger, providing smooth blade movement and feel of a manual pruner. Extremely silent action.
2. Two stages blade opening adjustment: Half-open 25 mm — full-open 33 mm.
